Dr. Margo C. Funk is a consultation-liaison psychiatrist and the program director of the Harvard South Shore Psychiatry Residency at VA Boston Healthcare System. Prior to joining VA Boston she was the Associate Chief of Staff for Mental Health at the VA Southern Oregon Rehabilitation Center and Clinics. Dr. Funk is a member of the APA Council on C-L Psychiatry where she was chair of the workgroup on QTc Prolongation and Psychotropic Medications. In addition to her interests in psychiatric cardiology, Dr. Funk has interest in medical education. She was the director of clinical neuroscience education at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine, the associate program director of the Cleveland Clinic Psychiatry Residency, and chair of the ACLP medical education sub-committee. Dr. Funk's other interests include trauma-based disorders and the advancement of women in healthcare leadership.
