ACLP offers a self-assessment component that can earn CLP 2019 attendees eight (8) additional CME credits for maintenance of certification (MOC). These credits can apply to any psychiatry certification you hold; you can use them to meet your requirements for General Psychiatry, for example, as well as Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry. This self-assessment is free for all ACLP members and just $20 for non-members registered for the meeting.
How it works:
October 21 - all pre-registrants as of 11:59 PM EDT October 20 will be emailed a link to a self-assessment pre-test of more than 100 multiple-choice questions that cover information presented at CLP 2019.
11:59 PM US Eastern Time November 3 - test closes
November 8 - participants receive: (1) a copy of the test (questions and answers), with reference to the presentation at the meeting to which each question relates, and (2) an analysis of each question based on all responses received for the exam, so that attendees can compare their responses to other test-takers.
Meeting attendees registering after October 21 will be provided access to the self-assessment test prior to the meeting, and can obtain CME certificates and scoring results, but will not receive the full test analysis until after the test closes permanently on November 30.
CME certificates are provided only once the test permanently closes on Nov. 30.
You do not need to be seeking recertification to participate in the meeting's self-assessment component. It can be useful even if you are a trainee. All results will be confidential and are for the education of only the test-taker. Results will be shared only in aggregate to help participants understand how they compare to the group.
If you registered for the meeting and do not have the link to access the online test, or if you have taken the test and do not have your results or your confirmation documentation, please contact the Academy office at info@CLpsychiatry.org
The MOC test will be available through November 30. Please ensure you have completed your online test by that date, as once closed and archived the test cannot be re-opened. The test is only available to meeting attendees.
