Tod Leiweke, former Seattle Seahawks CEO and current CEO of NHL Seattle, will deliver a TedX-style presentation and be interviewed by Jonathan Drezner, MD, Director, Center for Sports Cardiology at the University of Washington and Team Physician for the Seattle Seahawks and Reign FC. Tod will relate his personal journey, identifying how business leaders and professional sports teams can play critical roles to help make our schools, neighborhoods, and sporting venues prepared and equipped to respond appropriately to SCA. Using the example of the how the Seattle Seahawks supported the Heart of Seattle Schools Project will provide an example of how high profile organizations can foster important community initiatives.
