Breakfast with the Champions
Communities have successfully implemented CPR/AED programs for decades now, and their success speaks for itself. After having an established program for years, however, how does a community “keep the spark alive?” How can you keep the public excited and aware of these extraordinary efforts in areas where CPR instruction abounds and AEDs are so common they are in grocery stores and ball fields? This presentation will address how to keep growing programs in seemingly saturated markets by continuing to identify new and unique avenues for AEDs and CPR training, even when the obvious places are covered. Using case studies, learn about unique and innovative training venues, expanding your stakeholder base, and how to continue to compete for media and public attention. Also included will be a discussion of leveraging the next frontiers of CPR/AED programs, and how to integrate these into your plans for future program growth. This presentation will be a call to arms for community CPR/AED programs not to let existing success result in complacency, but to continually re-evaluate what the needs of the community are in comparison to what is offered. You can keep the spark alive!
