I.V. House improves patient safety and increases nurse efficiency through ergonomically designed products that allow nurses to easily inspect the IV insertion site including the TLC® Splint, available for the wrist, elbow, and foot, the I.V. House UltraDome®, and I.V. House UltraDressing®. Recent trials and surveys show promising results including:

A 20% reduction in pediatric patient harm from moderate to severe infiltrates at one Midwest hospital and a 17% decrease in infiltrates over a year and a half at another Midwest hospital. A West Coast hospital reduced IV catheter loss from 21% go 2.7% using a bundle that included the I.V. House UltraDome® and TLC Splint. In a Southeast hospital, 95% of nurses surveyed found I.V. House products easy to apply, and 86% said they made it easy to assess the IV insertion site. Finally, a trial at St. Louis Children’s Hospital showed ZERO IV infiltrates in patients wearing the TLC Wrist Splint compared to 12 IV infiltrates in the patients wearing traditional armboards.
