Claudia Sevilla is a Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery Fellow at the USC Keck Institute of Urology. She attended UCLA as an undergraduate where she received a degree in Biochemistry in 2007. She obtained her medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in 2012. During that time, she took a year to work as a research assistant for the UCLA Department of Urology Health Services Research Group. Her research work involved health literacy and disease understanding in Spanish-speaking Latinas with pelvic floor disorders, as well as prostate cancer research with Latino males.
She recently completed her residency in Urology at USC in June of 2017 and is currently finishing her fellowship in FPMRS. She has continued her research in health services and improving the delivery of care for Spanish-speaking patients with pelvic floor disorders.
