Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Brady Urological Institute
Dr. Hawksworth received her undergraduate degree from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, MA, a master’s degree in business administration from Boston University and her medical degree from University of Vermont College of Medicine. Upon graduation, Dr. Hawksworth completed urology residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. Following residency, she worked as a general urologist and Chief of the Urology Clinic at the Fort Belvoir Community Hospital in Fort Belvoir, VA. As an active duty US Army officer, she provided urologic care to the active duty service members, retirees and their family members.
After seven years of service, she began her Male Sexual Health and Reconstructive Surgery Fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Brady Urological Institute. She is currently in her second year of fellowship. Dr. Hawksworth’s clinical and research interests include male sexual dysfunction and infertility and their relation to the metabolic syndrome and non-alcoholic fatty liver disease.
Dr. Hawksworth has published 12 scientific manuscripts and book chapters and has presented her work at national and international academic conferences.
