Dr. Ehud Gnessin is a volunteer clinical professor of Urology at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland. He currently serves as the director of the kidney stone program and endourology at University Hospitals Cleveland (Case) Medical Center. His clinical and research interests include minimally invasive kidney stone surgery with a focus on ureteroscopic and percutaneous techniques as well as metabolic management for stone prevention. He also has vast experience with holmium laser enucleation of the prostate (HoLEP) for BPH, with close to 1,000 procedures done including 4 live surgeries. Before moving to the US, he served as the chair of the Israeli endourological society. He completed his Urologic residency at Rabin Medical Center in Israel and a two-year clinical and research fellowship in endourology and stone surgery at Indiana University Health Methodist Hospital.
