Aaron Spitz MD is a partner at Orange County Urology Associates in Orange County, California and Voluntarry Clinical Assistant Professor of Urology, UC Irvine Department of Urology. Dr. Spitz earned his medial degree from Cornell Medical College and he completed his Urology residency at the University of Southern California, and then obtained fellowship training in infertility at the Baylor College of Medicine. Dr. Spitz has expertise in the treatment of male infertility and sexual dysfunction. He is the past President of the California Urologic Association. He is the Orange County District representative to the Western Section of the American Urologic Association. He is the lead delegate to the American Medial Association House of Delegates representing the American Urologic Association. He sits on the Health Policy Council of the American Urologic Association. is co-chari fo the AUA Telemedicine Task Force and he serves on the AUA Workforce Work Group and the AUA Advanced Practice Practitioner Work Group.
Dr Spitz has authored book chapters and articles in peer reviewed publications on the topic of male infertility, telemedicine and workforce issues.
Dr Spitz has authored The Penis Book: A Doctor's Complete Guide to the Penis--From Size to Function and Everything in Between published 1998 by Rodale/Crown/Penguin
Dr. Spitz is a member of the AUA, AMA, SSMR, SMRU, ASRM, PCRS
He serves as a reviewer for the Journal of Endourology and the Journal of Andrology and Urology Practice
