Biography:
Thomas J. Dilling, MD, MS, is a Senior Member in Radiation Oncology at the Moffitt Cancer Center, where he serves as Section Chief in Thoracic Oncology. He completed his undergraduate and medical school training at the University of Pennsylvania, as well as residency in radiation oncology. He remained there for an additional year for a Kirchstein fellowship in radiation biology research. During that time, he also completed a Masters degree in Information Technology at Penn. At Moffitt, he serves as Director of Medical Education (Department of Radiation Oncology). His research interests include Radiomics, Artificial Intelligence, and "Big Data" in lung cancers. He is also involved with Moffitt's Data Warehouse, as well as Payer Strategies (particularly around the implementation of Alternative Payment Models).
