Krista Troilo is an Associate Director, Quality - Mgmt Systems Integration and Vendor Mgmt at Vertex, currently focusing on Quality Talent Management to ensure a robust talent pipeline and to develop and retain a fit-for-purpose workforce. She has over 25 years of combined experience in biotechnology, medical device and pharmaceutical industry with strong GMP Manufacturing, Aseptic Processing, Quality Systems, and Training background. Krista has recently conducted in-depth research into the competency areas that should be targeted to prepare for successful navigation of Quality 4.0 challenges. Utilizing the information gathered, she has compiled a living document, named the Vertex QA 4.0 Body of Knowledge (BoK), which is currently used to help guide QA staff recruitment and development. Using this guide, Krista works closely with Quality leadership and staff to identify learning needs and to coordinate learning opportunities to support development of the capabilities critical to the evolution of the QA role.
