Dr. Russell Roberson was the Vice-President, Quality and Regulatory for the Health Information Technology and Life Care Solutions businesses of General Electric Healthcare. Over his 37-year career, Dr. Roberson also has experience working with products in the areas of imaging, electronic medical records, maternal infant care, anesthesia, MRI, blood collection, blood substitutes, bone marrow collection, aseptic and post sterilization drugs, and cardiovascular heart values. In addition, Dr. Roberson has been involved in commenting on standards and regulations, working with the FDA, the Office of the National Coordinator, and the Institute of Medicine in areas such as Electronic Medical Records, Meaningful Use, and Cyber Security.
Dr. Roberson has taught as an adjunct professor since 1996 in both the traditional and online formats. Currently, he teaches classes in leadership and data analytics at Northwestern University and Health Information Technology at the University of Wisconsin.
Dr. Roberson holds a doctorate degree in Business Administration and Management, a Master of Business Administration degree, a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture engineering. He is a licensed professional engineer and holds six ASQ six certifications. He is active in several professional societies and serves as the President of two university councils.
