Performance Excellence Manager

Kristi Boyett serves as the Performance Excellence Manager at the City of Tyler where she has worked for 13 years. In this role, Kristi leads the city’s journey to excellence, which follows the Malcolm Baldrige Performance Excellence criteria. She helps departments transform day-to-day operational performance to ultimately drive a culture where teams and individuals continuously exceed targets in productivity, quality and customer service.
Kristi also serves as the city’s Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt, by training and mentoring other employees in this quality methodology and overseeing their projects that improve departmental and citywide processes. She also manages the City’s internal training program, City University that provides opportunities for competency, creativity, initiative and professional growth.
Kristi has a Master of Science in Human Resource Development, a Bachelor of Art in Communication and is a Distinguished Toastmaster.
