In this interactive session with a hands-on exercise, you will learn and apply root cause analysis and mistake-proofing to these events, and learn how to apply these important tools to improve the performance of your own work processes whether manufacturing, service, or transactional. Be prepared to enjoy some humor in these mistakes from the entertainment industry, while you apply the universal principles and methods of gemba, 5 why’s and 5W2H to understand their true root causes at the process level, as well as at the deeper system level. You also will learn the five principles/approaches to mistake-proofing as you develop an improved work process that reduces or eliminates the possibility of future mistakes.
