During this session we will look to apply ISO 9004:2018 both as a guidance document that can be used to further enhance an ISO 9001:2015 management system and as a standalone platform used to create or enhance a management system in need of the type of structure required to establish and sustain organizational success. This includes guidance on understanding how: mission, vision, values, and culture play a role in the sustained success of an organization; effectively supporting the direction of the organization through leadership’s ability to achieve sustained success takes place through the interrelationship of the strategy, policy, objectives, and the analysis of the organization’s performance; developing, managing, and balancing the relationship between engaged, empowered, motivated, and competent people and the processes and resources can be used to capture organizational knowledge and achieve sustained success; and staying out in front of improvement, learning, and innovation contribute to the sustained success of the organization.
