Building and Sustaining a Culture of Quality
Quality by design (QbD) has the potential to help companies bring life-changing medical products to market faster and cheaper while improving their safety and effectiveness. Implementing QbD requires not only technical know-how but also concerted efforts across many functions throughout the product life cycle.
Many organizations underestimate the change management required and therefore fail to achieve the full potential in creating a quality culture and delivering business benefits.
The presenters share their first-hand experience and lessons learned in helping organizations overcome challenges through staged deployment of QbD across functions. Participants will: learn or refresh basic concepts and tools of quality by design; develop awareness of the benefits and challenges in quality initiatives, such as QbD; see practical solutions that address some challenges in a case study; and gain insight in change management applied to build a quality culture.
Crganizations can instill a culture of quality by deploying QbD in a cross-functional setting and by applying effective change management.
