Do you have an absolutely great technical product that frustrates end users to no end? “Ease of use may be invisible but its absence sure isn’t”. This IBM quote conveys the importance of User Experience or UX in the overall quality perception of a product. This presentation tells the tale of one of the world class Intel technologies which was released to the market with an optimized user experience. This is a journey that involved challenging the status quo, planning and implementing a solution in a resource constrained environment, making data driven recommendations and finally bringing about a perspective shift which resulted in more formal UX based quality assessments.
