Elinaldo Barbosa Araujo is a mechanical engineer. He currently works at Embraco as a Fellow Researcher. He has more than 26 years of experience in multinational corporations, working as a quality engineer, quality manager and quality director, in factories and corporate level. His track record includes experience in implementing operational excellence and quality control, key quality performance indicators, quality and reliability engineering, product liability prevention program, problem solving tools adn methods, quality improvement programs, advanced quality planning, design review based on failure modes, poor quality cost assessment and reduction, product warranty management, customer complaint handling process.
Elinaldo is a senior member of ASQ, also holding professional certifications as Certified Reliability Engineer (CRE), Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) and Quality Engineer (CQE). He is the author of technical articles, research and presentations on metrology, problem solving, and project review based on failure modes. He also holds a Masters in Mechanical Engineering (M.Eng.) from the Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC) in Brazil.
