This field session explores the intersection of campus planning and design, landscape resiliency, pedagogical approaches, and art in an iconic setting.

Gain insight into how a large-scale and diverse landscape continues to be implemented for the 21st century mission with a focus on connectivity, innovation, stewardship, and public outreach.
Learn how specific landscape values and planning strategies are used to create a symbiotic relationship between the natural landscape and built environment.
See how green infrastructure and other resiliency strategies are being employed to diversify the landscape helping reduce long-term maintenance demands.
• Discuss how these strategies inform the collaboration between the design professions—particularly landscape architects, architects, engineers, maintenance personnel, administrators, and educators.
