Edith Salas Osorio. Architect graduated from Jorge Tadeo Lozano University of the Caribbean – Cartagena. Specialist in Conservation & Preservation of the Architectural Heritage of the Caribbean PLAN CARIMOS - O.E.A. Specialist in Heritage and Sustainable Tourism (UNESCO Chair of Cultural Tourism UNTREF / AAMNB). With more than 25 years of experience in the industry, Edith has been in charge of the Heritage Division for the Historic Center of Cartagena where she participated in the creation of architectural heritage regulations. She served as manager of the Affordable and Public Housing Fund and Manager of Public Areas and Urban Mobility. Edith participated in studies of heritage inventories, the Restoration of the Canvas Wall between the Monument of India Catalina and The Navy Museum, Santo Domingo Temple, and Special Plan for the Management of Fortifications of Bocachica 2012 among others
Member of ICOMOS COLOMBIA, President of the Public Improvement Society of Cartagena (Sociedad de Mejoras Publicas), a private civic entity that prevented the demolition of the historic fort 95 years ago where she continued her work by protecting and administering several project for the Society until 2014. Member of the Board of Directors of the Centro Histórico Foundation.
