Assistant to HP Interim Director
Maria de los Angeles Munoz is a Chilean Architect and preservationist specialized in earthen structures, with a professional focus on community development and social equity. She has worked in the public and private sector, most notably in the Ministry of Housing and Urban Development as Regional Heritage Manager for the 2010 rebuilding process. She holds a professional degree in Architecture from Universidad de Chile, and a MSc in Historic Preservation from Pratt Institute. She received a Fulbright scholarship for her graduate studies, and a grant from Chile’s Ministry of Culture for her thesis on the rebuilding process of rural areas.
