Elizabeth Salmon is Research Associate in Materials Conservation at the National Center for Preservation Technology and Training. She is an alumna of Vassar College where she studied Anthropology with an emphasis on tools and technology. Her previous studies in conservation include research into local treatments in Rajasthan, India as a Language Fellow at the American Institute of Indian Studies and wall paintings conservation at the Leon Levy Foundation Centre for Conservation Studies at Nagaur, also in Rajasthan. Her research endeavors explore the relationship between Technology, Ecology, and Society.
