Tour the Downtown Miami Historic District to view and learn about Miami’s distinct collection of Commercial, Masonry Vernacular, Mediterranean Revival, Art Deco, Art Moderne, Neoclassical Revival and Italian Renaissance Revival style buildings built between 1913 and 1955, typically forgotten amongst the excitement of Miami’s newer skyscrapers. Buildings on the tour will include the Miami News/Freedom Tower, United States Post Office and Federal Courthouse, GESU Church, Security Building, the Old Federal Building, the Langford Hotel, Olympia Theatre, the Ingraham Building and many more buildings associated with Miami’s cultural and architectural heritage.
