Keith D. Krell, D.D.S., M.S., M.A. | AAE President
A recent President’s Profile described him as “a musician with 2020 vision.” He is a root canal specialist who enjoys guitar playing and is a fan of classic rock. Dr. Krell believes in collaboration across the specialty and within the association he presides over. He views his new role more like a band versus a solo act. For him, there are no lead guitarists or front men. He is focused on the future of the specialty and fighting for the members he was elected to represent. Dr. Krell practiced endodontics for 38 years. He currently teaches at the University of Iowa, and he is a retired United States Army National Guard lieutenant colonel. He is a past president of the American Board of Endodontics and Foundation for Endodontics.
