This program will assist the Infection Preventionist in working with Value Analysis Teams to make product selections based on the organization's risk assessment and supporting scientific evidence. As part of the Value Analysis Team, the Infection Preventionist can use Infection Prevention outcome data to communicate risks and benefits of clinical product selection to positively impact patient outcomes.

• Upon completion of this program the participant will be able to descirbe the role of value analysis programs in selecting products for use in clinical settings.
