Adebisi Adeyeye, DHA, RN, CIC, FAPIC is the Director of Infection Control at the VA NY Harbor Health Care System, New York and an adjunct professor of epidemiology at Monroe College, where her focus is on improving workflow efficiency for infection preventionists and improving patient safety, specifically health care associated infections in acute care settings. Dr. Adeyeye is the past President for the APIC Greater New York Chapter 13. She is also a member of the APIC national Research Committee. Dr. Adeyeye received her Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, her Masters of Public Health degree in epidemiology from New York Medical, New York and her Doctor of Health Administration from the University of Phoenix. She has been certified in infection prevention and control (CIC) since 2005. Dr. Adeyeye has earned the Fellow of APIC designation.
