Staci Kvak is a Nurse Consultant at the Washington State Department of Health. Staci works for the Healthcare Associated Infections and Antibiotic Resistance Program coordinating antimicrobial stewardship and resistance activities, and in the Legionella program specifically working with long term care facilities on water management plans. Her nursing background includes experience in multiple healthcare settings such as medical-surgical, step-down, and clinical research among others. She continues to work in the clinical research per diem. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Toledo, Post-Baccalaureate Certificate Degree in Clinical Research from the University of Cincinnati, a Master of Public Health from the University of Washington specialized in Occupational and Environmental Health Nursing and a Master of Nursing Education from Kent State University.
