Lynn Fine has been involved in Infection Prevention for 18 years and is currently an Infection Preventionist at the University of Rochester Medical Center . She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology, a Masters of Public Health, and a PhD in Immunology. She is board certified in Infection Control and was made a Fellow of APIC in 2016.
Lynn has served on National APIC’s Education and Professional Development Committee, and currently serves on APIC’s Research Committee. She has also served on CBIC’s test subcommittee. Lynn was a section editor for the APIC Text published in 2014, and authored a chapter in APIC’s “The Infection Preventionist’s Guide to the Laboratory.” She is currently a faculty member for APIC’s Epi 101 and CIC Preparation Courses. Lynn has also served on the Board of Directors for the Rochester/Finger Lakes APIC chapter. She particularly enjoys mentoring those new to Infection Prevention.
