PROFESSIONAL BIOGRAPHY
Christiana Agnes Conteh a State Registered Nurse/ State Certified Midwife from the National School of Nursing and the National School of Midwifery both in Freetown, Sierra Leone since 1984 and 1987. Diploma in Community Medicine and Health from College of Medicine and Allied Health Sciences, University of Sierra Leone since 1995. Trained as a trainer in Infection Prevention and Control during the Ebola disease outbreak in 2014, trained both clinical and non-clinical HCWs for the Ebola treatment centers. Fundamentals of Infection Prevention and Control course at Stellenbosch University in Cape Town, South Africa in 2017. My professional interest focused on Infection control. Currently, providing mentorship and coaching, regular monitoring and supportive supervision in all healthcare facilities and conducting IPC trainings. As a committed and result oriented IPC Nurse I am currently acting as the National IPC coordinator, Ministry of Health and Sanitation, Sierra Leone.
