Stacy Martin, RN, BSN, CIC, FAPIC is the Manager of Infection Prevention & Control at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, FL. Stacy completed a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Florida State University in 1989 and has been certified in Infection Control for over 25 years. Stacy began her career in Infection Control at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare in 1992 following several years as a Newborn Intensive Care nurse. She now has 27 years of experience in Infection Prevention and Control. Stacy is involved in a number of infection control organizations, including C3IC, a consortium of infection preventionists from comprehensive cancer centers as well as her local chapterl and state infection control organizations. She is passionate about the profession of infection prevention and the ever increasing imporatance in promoting safety for patients, visitors and employees.
