Kathleen Hartnett is an Epidemic Intelligence Service Officer in CDC's Division of Healthcare Quality Promotion. Over the past two years, she has supported health departments in their responses to more than 40 outbreaks and infection control breaches. She is a Lieutenant in the U.S. Public Health Service and has a PhD in epidemiology from Emory University’s Rollins School of Public Health.
