Infection Prevention Manager, Piedmont Atlanta
Shalom is an Infection Prevention Manager at Piedmont Healthcare in Atlanta, GA. She manages the Piedmont Atlanta Hospital Infection Prevention Program, the largest hospital of the system, where she has been working for over six years. She graduated from the University of Florida with her Master's in Public Health focus in Epidemiology. She is Certified in Infection Control as well as Public Health. She also has obtained her Quality Process Improvement Black Belt. Prior to her hospital experience she completed an internship at CDC with the Tuberculosis Outbreak Investigations Team, worked at the Florida Department of Public Health and for the Fulton County Department of Public Health as the district epidemiologist.
