Linda R. Greene RN, MPS, CIC, FAPIC, has over 25 years’ experience in infection prevention . Currently she is Manager of the Infection Prevention Program at University of Rochester, Highland Hospital in Rochester, New York. Linda has served as national faculty for several HAI projects .She was the 2017 APIC president and has served on the APIC Board of Directors as Secretary, APIC’s Public Policy Committee, and the Nominating and Awards Committee. Linda was the APIC Representative to the SHEA Compendium section on SSI and VAE. She was editor of the 2014 CAUTI Implementation Guide and has been lead author on other APIC Implementation Guides and Position Papers. She has authored or coauthored several textbook chapters and articles for peer-review nursing journals and has lectured extensively at the state, national and international level.
