Rebecca Ragar, MPH, MLS(ASCP)CM, CIC is an Infection Preventionist for the HonorHealth health system which includes five acute care hospitals, one freestanding emergency department, and 100 outpatient treatment centers in Phoenix and Scottsdale, Arizona. Rebecca received her Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Laboratory Science from Brigham Young University, and Master of Public Health degree in Epidemiology from the University of Arizona. Prior to moving to an infection prevention role in April 2016, she worked at Banner Health and Phoenix Children’s Hospital for many years as a Medical Laboratory Scientist and Research Coordinator. Rebecca is an active member of the APIC Grand Canyon Chapter. She is extremely passionate about infection prevention and believes in collaboration and innovation to develop tools and resources that support and improve infection prevention.
