Rachael is the Lead Infection Prevention Consultant at BJC HealthCare. She has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Truman State University, and a Master of Public Health in Epidemiology and Behavioral Science from Saint Louis University. She has worked for BJC HealthCare since 2006; first as a nurse in telemetry and advanced cardiac care at Missouri Baptist Medical Center, then as an Infection Prevention Specialist at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. She has been Certified in Infection Control since 2013, and became a Fellow of APIC in 2018. Rachael is an active member in the Greater St. Louis APIC Chapter, having served as a Nominating Committee member in 2013, and a board member from 2016 - 2018.
