Carly Rodriguez, Pharm.D., RPh
Carly is the Pharmacy Director, Clinical Innovation at Moda Health, a regional health plan based in Portland, Oregon. In this role, she provides strategic direction for pharmacy operations and clinical pharmacy initiatives, including formulary development, utilization management, clinical programs, and the integration of medication management across pharmacy and medical benefits.
Carly’s areas of expertise include medical pharmacy strategy, formulary management, cost-savings and utilization management strategies, and evidence-based health technology assessment. Throughout her career she's led numerous medical pharmacy initiatives, including site of care. Her primary clinical interests include oncology, neurology, and rare disease.
Carly studied biochemistry at the University of Portland prior to receiving her doctor of pharmacy (Pharm.D) from the University of Washington, School of Pharmacy, along with a certificate in biomedical and regulatory affairs. She currently serves as President for the Northwest AMCP Affiliate, Chair of the AMCP Organizational Affairs Committee, and AMCP Diplomat to the University of Washington. Carly is a licensed and registered pharmacist in Oregon, Washington and California.
