Adanna Oragwu, PharmD, BCPS, AAHIVP is a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Infectious Diseases covering HIV, hepatitis C coinfection, outpatient IV antibiotic monitoring and antimicrobial stewardship. Her primary focus is in HIV and includes patient education to newly diagnosed individuals, medication counseling and follow up, and adherence outreach. Dr. Oragwu collaborates with pharmacy drug utilization specialists and interacts with providers and patients to implement population-based initiatives.
Dr. Oragwu graduated from Wingate University with her Doctorate in Pharmacy. She completed her PGY-1 Residency at the Robley Rex VA Medical Center in Louisville, Kentucky and her PGY-2 Infectious Diseases Residency at the Jesse Brown VA Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois. Dr. Oragwu has been with Kaiser Permanente since 2013 and her professional interests include clinical outcome-based research and adherence surveillance and optimization.
