Amy M. Duhig, PhD, is Vice President of Strategic Market Access and Intelligence. In this role, she is responsible for Xcenda’s market access services and primary and secondary research with payers, providers, and patients. Dr. Duhig joined Xcenda in 2014 as the lead of the Outcomes Research team. In her tenure at Xcenda, Dr. Duhig has consulted on US and global products, small and large molecule assets, as well as specialty and orphan products. She has worked on early phase assets and products late in their lifecycle.
Prior to Xcenda, Dr. Duhig held roles in global health economics and outcomes research departments in large pharmaceutical companies, providing strategic and tactical support within a variety of therapeutic areas. Dr. Duhig earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology from the University of South Florida. She completed her clinical internship at the University of Miami, Department of Pediatrics, Mailman Center for Child Development, where she worked in pediatric transplant, hematology/oncology, and behavioral disorders. Dr. Duhig also completed a post-doctoral fellowship in the Department of Psychiatry at Yale University, focusing on studies of tobacco smoking and alcohol use disorders. She has published in a number of top-tier journals over the course of her career.
