As pharmacy costs continue to rise, alternative forms of care management are being implemented in an attempt to contain costs. Specialty pharmacy groups within integrated delivery networks (IDNs) are implementing therapy management programs to improve both outcomes and health care costs. This session will describe the collaborative process, and results of measuring predictors of adherence, persistence and improved clinical outcomes in patients with immunological disorders being treated with biologics.
