In this session, authors of the top-rated posters presented at AMCP Annual 2019 will present a detailed description of their research projects, and explain how their findings can advance the practice of managed care pharmacy. A panel of managed care decision-makers will share their impressions and reactions, as well as ask probing questions of the authors. Learning Objectives:

1. Describe the impact of an exclusion formulary (EF) on medical costs, pharmacy costs, and medical resource utilization.
2. Compare the effectiveness and safety outcomes between pharmacist-managed deprescribing and usual care on selected antidiabetic medications within an integrated healthcare system one year after the intervention.
3. Compare matched patients across pharmacy benefit designs that either include an oral oncolytic medication split-fill option or not to discontinuation rates, patient reported side-effects, pharmacy costs, and potential medication wastage.
