Today women in the United States are still trying to find their footing in the leadership world. However, nonprofits, corporations, and government entities have the ability to not only help women and families survive at work, but to help them thrive. In doing so, employers support the very infrastructure of Maternal and Child Health in the United States. This session shares specific examples from two organizations, one public and one private, on how to help women achieve work-life balance so they can be competitive and productive members of the workforce. This session will be essential for Maternal and Child Health organizations trying to set the bar for supporting women at work and shaping the leaders of tomorrow.
