Brittany Powers is a Program Manager for Autism & Other Health Initiatives at the University of Delaware Center for Disabilities Studies. Brittany coordinates a statewide implementation grant for autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in children birth to three. She collaborates with state- and nation-wide multidisciplinary partners on projects around early screening and access to diagnostic assessments for developmental delays, telehealth, physician training, care coordination, and use of evidence-based practice in early intervention. Brittany also provides training for the Delaware Network for Excellence in Autism (DNEA), a technical assistance and professional training center for people with ASD and their families, as well as state agencies, organizations, and private entities. In addition, Brittany serves as the CDC’s Act Early Ambassador to Delaware, educating providers and families on early childhood developmental monitoring. Brittany is a former Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and related Disabilities (LEND) trainee. She received her Master's in Public Health and Certificate in Health Education from New York Medical College.
