Sarah Abrahams currently serves as the Deputy Associate Commissioner for Prevention and Early Intervention at the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services where she’s focused on systems and service approaches to strengthening families and communities. She has led the Home Visiting and Early Childhood work at the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, worked with Casey Family Programs focused on foster care and child welfare policy and systems change, and is an experienced nonprofit leader, grant writer, board member and community volunteer.
