MCH Systems Building
Skills Building Session
Interested in strengthening the involvement of end-users (e.g. youth, families, communities) in your initiatives? Seeking new tools to help you plan, implement, and evaluate MCH initiatives? If so, this workshop is for you! Presenters from the Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Adolescent Health and Texas A&M University’s iTP3 project have come together to facilitate this introductory-level Human-Centered Design (HCD) workshop. During this session, participants will learn about the purpose and benefits of HCD, review examples of how it has been used to support OAH and iTP3 projects, experience the HCD process through a guided interactive activity, explore how HCD can be used to strengthen MCH initiatives, and receive resources for continued HCD skill building.
