Los Angeles African American Women's Public Policy Institute
Patrice Marshall McKenzie is a skilled professional adept in the Legislative Process, public affairs and media relations. Patrice is Deputy Chief of Staff for LAUSD Board Member Dr. George McKenna, leading a team implementing policy development, intergovernmental relations, and community engagement. Previously, Ms. McKenzie served with the office of California Assembly Speaker Emeritus Karen Bass.
Patrice serves as President of both the Los Angeles African American Women’s Public Policy Institute and the Pasadena chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. Ms. McKenzie completed her undergraduate degree at UC Berkeley and an MPA degree from Baruch College at CUNY New York.
