CBCF welcomes media who are employed by accredited news organizations to apply for credentials to cover ALC 2019, held on September 11 – 15, 2019 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. All media covering the ALC '19 may be assigned credentials. Online registration ends at 5:00 pm on August 12, 2019.

Media registration for ALC '19 is now open. Our advice to media wishing to attend ALC '19 is to apply for credentials early to avoid the cutoff date. Be sure to read the application requirements and restrictions below.
To simplify and expedite the ALC ‘19 media registration process, members of the media are required to upload all qualifying credentials during the registration process.
ALC '19 badges are not mailed. Members of the press can retrieve their badges at the on-site media registration area in the main lobby at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center. A government-issued photo ID must be presented to receive a badge and badge holder.
Media credentials for ALC '19 will be provided solely at the discretion of the media registration team and will be approved based on the following criteria (see below):
The media registration team will assess all qualifications to determine and issue media credentials. Employees of media outlets who do not work in an editorial capacity will not qualify for a media badge including: Art Directors, Graphic Designers, Publishers, Sales, and Senior Level Managerial staff. CBCF requires all media to conduct themselves in a professional manner and to ask permission before taking photos, video or audio recordings. We understand that it may be necessary to obtain certain establishing shots to complete an assignment. However, we ask that you not shoot close-ups of any booths, persons or products without permission. CBCF requires all media to defer to participants/moderators/panelists/exhibitors who do not want to be interviewed or have their products photographed or videotaped. At its discretion, the CBCF may provide an escort for video crews on the exhibit hall floor. Unauthorized filming, photography or audio recording, or unprofessional behavior will result in the immediate revocation of media credentials and removal from the premises, and may jeopardize admission into future CBCF ALCs.
CBCF reserves the right to bar from this and future events any press badge holder who attempts to solicit services, products, advertising or subscriptions from press, registrants or exhibitors.
If the Walter E. Washington Convention Center has not reached its maximum capacity and on-site registration is still open, you may register for ALC '19 credentials in the main lobby. You must bring photo identification and meet the appropriate credentials detailed above. Qualifications of all media outlets will be determined by the media registration team.
