Ibi Zoboi is the author of the young adult novels American Street, a National Book Award Finalist and a New York Times Notable Book, and the highly-acclaimed Pride. She is the editor of the anthology Black Enough: Stories of Being Young & Black in America. Her middle grade debut, My Life as an Ice Cream Sandwich, is due out in August of 2019. Her award-winning writing has been published in the New York Times Book Review, The Horn Book Magazine, and the Rumpus, among others. She holds an MFA in writing for children from Vermont College of Fine Arts. Born in Haiti and raised in New York City, she now lives in New Jersey with her family.
