Pioneer Library System
Aiden Street is an Associate Director for the Pioneer Library System located in central Oklahoma. The mission of the Pioneer Library System is to, “Inspire Innovation, Engagement and Learning in our Communities.” In her current role she works with branches, oversees community engagement and supervises the Business Services and Maker Mobile departments. Aiden is a 2019 graduate of Leadership Oklahoma.
Aiden was recognized as a 2017 Library Journal “Mover and Shaker” Change Agent. This international award is given to individuals who are shaping the future of library services. She received recognition for implementing 3 national grants focusing on financial literacy for diverse native populations, for her support of academic achievement initiatives and disaster relief efforts following the May 2013 tornadoes. She was named the 2017 University of Oklahoma Outstanding Alumni for the School of Library and Information Studies. Aiden is a graduate of the Public Library Leadership Academy and the Oklahoma Library Association Leadership program.
Aiden is also a graduate of Leadership OKC, Team South OKC Chamber and Leadership Moore. Her community involvement includes past President-Women of the South, Earlywine YMCA Council and the Moore Public Schools Foundation Board. She received her MLIS from the University of Oklahoma in 2004. Since 2001 she has also coached on the visual staff with the marching bands at Moore and Southmoore High School. She enjoys travelling with her family, gardening and cooking.
