Denelle Wrightson, AIA is the Principal at Library Planning & Design. Library Planning & Design is a consulting firm specializing in master planning, programming, design and interiors of libraries. Throughout her career, Ms. Wrightson has specialized in the
planning and design of libraries. As a recognized library design specialist, her experience includes more than 350 library
facilities, ranging in size from 1,000 square foot additions to design and construction of new libraries of more than 160,000
square feet. Her greater than 37 years experience, coupled with six years of employment in libraries has provided her with a
unique understanding of user needs and a sensitivity to design. Denelle is a frequent speaker at library association meetings at the local, state and national level. She is currently is the ALA BES representative for IFLA. She is highly regarded by her clients for her ability to bring consensus of opinion to groups of all sizes. Denelle's education includes: Master of Architecture, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee,Bachelor of Arts, Kalamazoo College, Public Libraries Planning and Design, Harvard Graduate School of Design, and The Library of the Future, LLAMA Institute.
