Glenda is an Associate Professor and Assistant Director for Collection Management and Administration at Tennessee State University. She supervises acquisitions, collection development, serials, cataloging, database procurement and preservation of the library’s resources. She has served as the Convener for the African American Studies Librarians Interest Group (AASLIG)of ACRL/ALA(2017-2018) and currently serves as the ACRL-AASLIG Library Liaison for the Association for the Study of African American Life and History. She is a member of the Black Caucus of the American Library Association(BCALA) and also a member of the ALA Biblioquilters. She has served on the program committee for the the Charleston Library Conference for several years and a writes a column, "Collection Management Matters," for Against the Grain.
